| I hand carve this 5 inch long comb out of Tulipwood Rosewood from Brazil with gorgeous figure. I love to work with Tulipwood because it has a very pleasant odor when freshly cut - it smells a bit like flowers :). I then inlay a hand made disc of brilliant yellow Satinwood into the top section of the comb to showcase the genuine amber cabochon in an elegant sterling silver setting that is the centerpiece for this comb. The amber stands a 3/8" above the surface of the pin and the inclusions in the amber really sparkle when the light passes through them - Gorgeous!
