The beautiful pink color of this unique wood forms a lovely backdrop for the Turquoise cabochon in a handcrafted sterling silver setting that is the focal point for this barrette.
Pink Ivory - no, not the tusk from a pink elephant, :) but a beautiful wood from from Mozambique, Africa. Pink Ivory, with its watermelon pink coloring and lovely grain figure, is extremely rare and very difficult to find. It's called "the royal wood of the Zulus" because of its importance in local customs.
This barrette is 3" long on a 2 3/4" inch long clip (a size medium) and would be great for pulling back part for your hair or all of your hair if you have finer hair. |
