| This barrette was handcrafted from Curly Koa and is a size Medium. You can see a sample picture of this wood above and below. Please note that your barrette may vary slightly from the picture as each piece of wood is unique and all of our barrettes are individually handcrafted. Our medium barrettes work well to pull back a section of normal thickness hair or all of fine hair. They measure approximately 3" long with a 70mm or 2 3/4" long clip.
Curly Koa (Hawaiian Islands) - Reddish to dark brown with some black streaks, Medium texture usually with straight grain to wavy. Because this species is in limited supply it is hard to find and is very expensive. |
