| An unbelievably gorgeous art glass calla lily by the incomparable glass artist Serena Smith adorn the ends of this stunning pink Ivory wood hairstick. Oh my it is beautiful - soft peach and pink tones with a delicacy and translucence that you have to see first hand to fully appreciate. It's accentuated by a single lilac cultured pearl in a Turkish sterling silver bell cap. The lily is nestled in an elegant sterling silver setting that provides the perfect finishing touch to this simple and oh so elegant hair stick design. Treat yourself to this beauty- wear it, enjoy it and and pass it on to the next generation -you won't regret it! This stunning piece of hair jewelry is absolutely collectible and of the utmost heirloom quality. It would also make a wonderful bridal hair accessory!
I individually hand turned this hair stick from the finest quality, extremely rare, pink ivory wood from Africa. This hair stick features the rich watermelon pink color so highly sought after in pink ivory!
Pink Ivory - no, not the tusk from a pink elephant, :) but a beautiful wood from from Mozambique, Africa. Pink Ivory, with its watermelon pink coloring and lovely grain figure, is extremely rare and very difficult to find. It's called "the royal wood of the Zulus" because of its importance in local customs.
This hairstick measure 5 3/4" inches long from base to tip (a good length for most hair types). |
