Each Silver bead is beautifully and painstakingly crafted with each tiny element individually applied by hand. Gorgeous genuine amethyst facetted rounds nestled in sterling silver bead caps complete this original hair stick design.
The name "amethyst" comes from the Greek and means "not drunken." This was possibly due to a belief that amethyst would ward off the effects of alcohol, but more likely the Greeks were referring to the almost wine-like color of some stones that they may have encountered.
I individually hand turn each of these hair sticks from Kingwood rosewood with gorgeous color and figure. They measure 6 1/2" inches long from base to tip (a good length for most hair types). |
