The design idea for the shape of these hair combs came from a series of beautiful carved wood weaving combs I saw at a museum exhibit some time ago. I made a few modifications to make them better suited for use as hair jewelry. For fit and comfort, each comb is curved ( like a comma) to follow the shape of the head and the prongs are further apart and wider for strength.
