| I hand sculpt this elegant hair comb in of rare and exotic jet black Ebony wood (Diospyros crassiflora) from Africa. The centerpiece of the comb is the lovely Turkish oval turquoise cabochon in a handmade Sterling Silver setting with wonderful detailing. It sits over 1/4 of an inch proud of the surface so it is viewable from all sides.
Ebony, famous for its rich jet-black color, has been used in the finest furniture and musical instrument making for centuries. It's one of the world's most prized and expensive hardwoods! At 5 inches in length, this hair comb would fit most hair types nicely, but will work especially well for fine hair or to pull part of the hair back.
