This elegant barrette is hand sculpted in finest quality, musical instrument grade, jet-black Ebony (Diospyros crassiflora) from Africa. I then add a beautiful handmade Sterling Silver and opal design to the front that features hand cut and fit pieces of sparkling fire 'n' ice Opal set into hand textured channels of Sterling Silver. The sparkle of the Opal is the perfect compliment to the shine of the Sterling Silver and the jet black ebony sets the whole design off perfectly!
Ebony, famous for its rich jet-black color, has been used in the finest furniture and musical instrument making for centuries. It's one of the world's most prized and expensive hardwoods!
This barrette is 3" long on a 2 3/4" inch long clip (a size medium) and would be great for pulling back part for your hair or all of your hair if you have finer hair. |
