| I hand carved this wooden barrette from beautiful Cocobolo Rosewood, known for its striking grain patterns and rich colors. Cocobolo is considered by some to be the most attractive of all the exotic woods and its one of my personal favorites. I then add a gorgeous deep cognac colored genuine amber cabochon in a elegant hand-made sterling silver setting. The amber cabochons sits a full 3/8 inch above the surface of the barrette, is easily viewable from all sides, and looks just great when the light passes through it!
This barrette is 3 1/2" long on a 2 3/4" inch long clip (a size - large) and will work well for most hair types. |
