Boro glass has been used for everything from stove top cookware and test tubes to to nuclear waste containment. Borosilicate glass is highly sought after because of it's unique color pallet and the dynamic yet subtle look of the finished pieces. Colors in boro glass come from combining different amounts of organic elements including cobalt, iron, and silver, and gold which can be manipulated and shaded with careful torch work. I handcrafted this hairstick from gorgeous aquapearl. Aquapearl is a man made polymer with wonderful pearlescent highlights, shimmer and glow that takes a polish like glass. It is also completely waterproof and perfectly suited for repeated use in wet or damp hair. These hair sticks are lightweight, strong, and flexible.
At 5 1/4" inches in length, this hair stick is a good size for most hair types but would be especially well suited for finer hair.
